Biography
On July 21, 1969, the first person stepped onto the moon. This was a worldwide event, and three days later in La Mesa, Kathleen Ramsey was born.
She had one sister, Lori, and a mother and a father. Her mom, Barbara, stayed at home, taking care of the kids, while her dad, Richard, was a Teletype Repairman. At night, when Richard got home, Barbara went to night school, trying to become a teacher.
Kathy went to a school that had kindergarten through eighth grade. When she got to sixth grade, she was so excited because she finally got a locker. There was a lot of peer pressure for what clothes or brands you wore, and even who you hung out with.
Her first job was at Round Table. She cleaned up the tables restocked the saltshakers after closing hours. She soon got fired because of some other kids having a party and making a mess. After that she got a job at Wendy’s.
San Diego State University was her Alma Mater. She graduated as a Magna cum Laude, with a Liberal Studies degree. Then she became a teacher, teaching preschool kids.
Now she is a stay at home mom, married to Troy Neuenswander, and has three kids. Kathy likes to go to her kid’s sports and activities, watch movies, read, take pictures, and spend time with her family.
