There are few people in the world that can actually make you laugh so hard that you cry. Rick Harris has that sense of humor, which can only come from life experiences. Rick Leslie Harris was born 8/27/59 in San Diego, and is a plumber turned landlord. Mr. Harris’ life is split up into his childhood, teenage years, and currently, his adulthood. Respectfully, his childhood should be talked about first.
Rick’s childhood was a time of nurturing and growth, but as his father, like most men of the time, was at work most of the time, so his mom played a major role in his life. “My mom was almost always around, and, even though my dad was home at night, I saw her much more.” Rick obviously knew his mom better than his dad at the time, and he saw her when she had lots of energy, not burnt out from selling cars. Today, this connects with most people of today, who have parents who work full-time. “My home was safe and comfortable.” He felt safe in his home, which was a luxury that only a few kids of the time could have. Even now, some kids can’t enjoy that. Even though Rick’s childhood was a growing period, his teenage years were even more major.
Rick Harris, amazingly, was once in middle school, and a teenager. “It was a changing time.” Mr. Harris during this time obviously was changing, in belief and body. This was the time of .free-thinking in his life. “It was, enjoyable.” This is an emotion that many children of that time, and today, don’t have a chance to experience. His sons probably feel like this too. Although his past was, and is, important, his adulthood, now, is much more important.
Rick is now greatly affected by his life and his two children, Scott and Brad. “I care about them more than I care about myself.” He must also trust his two sons (or at least his oldest one) with his life. But, one must care about themselves as a whole to care about others. “I am glad my parents can be good grandparents for my kids, which makes me feel that they are lucky.” Rick’s parents must have been pretty good to have a good review like this. His parents certainly raised him well, in that respect. That is why, Rick Harris’ life is extremely important.
